Des Moines longest running volunteer run science fiction and fantasy convention. I'll be kicking off the music track (which I've been running for a few years) Friday night. Overall we have a dozen great acts, from around the midwest (Des Moines, Ames, Minneapolis, Chicago). Also opportunities to jam wth the musicians, and of course since it's a 'con there'll  be plenty of activities to enjoy outside the music room! There are several other rates including day passes and lower rates for kids, but a full conference badge will get you into the 'con suite, which includes a full open bar and limited food options, so it's a much better deal than a lot of music festivals!
